Typographic Comics

As a graphic designer I am interested in typography and thought I'd do a few comic book covers based on that subject. All part of the fun that goes with experimenting on the computer. TypographicNo.1 TypographicNo.2 Typographic No.3

Developing my covers

Experimental1 This is my original digital painting done in Photoshop Elements 3. I decided to try a few variations which are quite easy to do on the computer, something that would be difficult and time consuming if done with the traditional art mediums. Eroto Here is the second version which I was happy with, I liked the brighter colors. ErotomaniaNo4 I decided to do another version and use it for one of my comic book cover parodies. ErotomaniaNo7 Another variation of the same art. ErotomaniaNo.8 I liked this version very much. The computer enables you to experiment with many variations of color and design easily which is fun and a great way to sharpen your abilities.

Abstract Comix

I used a couple of my abstract computer sketches for these two covers. I do sketches like this for final acrylic paintings which I exhibit at the Craig Smith Gallery in Union Pier, Michigan. AbstractNo2 AbstractComixNo1

Gloria as Lizard Lady

I found an old photo of Gloria as a hot blond and decided to use it for a comic book cover, the shot was taken in Puerto Vallarta. LizardLadyComix
